The new-look Tata Altroz, coming out on May 22, 2025, will have a fresh and better inside, like the Tata Nexon and the upcoming Tata Curvv. Tata Motors is trying to make the inside of its newer cars feel similar and modern, so the Altroz is getting some of the same good features.
When you get into the new Altroz, you’ll see things that look familiar but also better. One thing you’ll notice is the new steering wheel with two bars, just like in the Nexon and the Curvv. This cool steering wheel even lights up the Tata logo in the middle, making it look fancy.
Behind the steering wheel, there’s a big, 10.25-inch screen that shows information for the driver, just like in the SUVs. This clear screen can show you lots of things, and it can even show maps to help you find your way.
The middle part of the Altroz’s dashboard has also changed. It now has buttons you touch to control the air conditioning, like in the Tata Curvv. This makes the dashboard look cleaner and more up-to-date.
Above these touch buttons, there’s a 10.25-inch touch screen for music and other things, which looks built into the dashboard, similar to the Nexon and Curvv. This bigger screen will be easier to use and look better.
The way the whole dashboard looks has been made simpler and cleaner in the new Altroz. The air vents (where the air comes out) are now smoother and don’t stand out as much, which is how they look in the Nexon and Curvv. To make the inside feel more special, there’s a soft light that goes across the dashboard, a feature that also makes the Curvv feel nice.
Besides these shared features, the Tata Altroz also gets some new things just for it:
- New covers on the seats: The seats will have new, better-looking covers, maybe with new colors to make the inside look nicer.
- Simpler dashboard look: The dashboard looks less busy and more grown-up.
- Six airbags as standard: This is a big improvement for safety – all versions of the new Altroz will have six airbags.
- Helpful 360-degree camera: Parking will be easier with a camera that shows you all around the car, like in the SUVs.
- Sunroof that listens to your voice: The sunroof in the new Altroz can now be opened and closed by talking to it, like the sunroofs in the Nexon and Curvv.
Even though the basic shape of the Altroz’s inside is still the same, these shared and new features make it feel more expensive and modern, putting it in line with Tata’s newer SUV cars. By using some of the same parts and ideas, Tata Motors is making all its new cars feel connected and high-quality, giving Altroz buyers a better and more modern inside.
