Suzuki Motorcycle India Sees Impressive 14% Sales Increase in April

Suzuki Motorcycle India has started the new financial year strongly, with a great 14% rise in total sales for April 2025. The company sold 1,12,948 vehicles last month, a big jump from the 99,377 vehicles sold at the same time last year.

This good result came from a healthy increase in both sales within India and sales to other countries. Suzuki sold 95,214 vehicles in India in April 2025, an 8% rise compared to the 88,067 vehicles sold in April 2024. Selling to other countries did even better, going up by a large 57% to 17,734 vehicles, from 11,310 vehicles the year before.

The company says this positive trend is because people really like their more affordable vehicles, especially the new Access scooter, along with popular models like the Burgman Street 125 and the Gixxer series of motorcycles.

This good April follows a record-breaking financial year for Suzuki Motorcycle India. In FY2024-25, the company had its best year ever for total sales, selling 12,56,161 vehicles, an 11% increase from the year before. Importantly, sales within India also reached a record high of 10,45,662 vehicles during the same time, showing a significant 14% increase. The strong end to the last financial year was also shown by the best month ever for sales in March 2025, with 1,25,930 vehicles sold, a 21% increase compared to the year before.

Suzuki Motorcycle India has also been working on making things easier for customers and reaching more people. In April, the company teamed up with Flipkart to allow online bookings of its vehicles in eight Indian states, aiming to make it simpler for more customers to buy their products.

Also, the company kept its vehicle range fresh by launching the 2025 version of the famous Suzuki Hayabusa in April. The updated model now meets the latest emission rules and comes in three new attractive two-tone colors, further solidifying its well-known status.

Adding another achievement, the Suzuki Access recently got into the India Book of Records for the fastest scooter ride from Kuttanad to Komic, showing how reliable and well-performing it is.

Looking ahead, Suzuki Motorcycle India is also getting ready for the move to electric vehicles. The company showed its first electric scooter, the e-ACCESS, at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, suggesting it will soon enter the growing electric scooter market within the current financial year.

Talking about the company’s performance, Mr. Deepak Mutreja, Vice President – Sales & Marketing, Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd., said he was thankful for the good start to the new financial year. He promised that the company would continue to meet and go beyond what customers expect, suggesting a bright future for Suzuki Motorcycle India in the coming months. With strong sales numbers, smart plans, and a focus on the future of transportation, Suzuki seems well-placed for continued growth in the Indian two-wheeler market.
