While Royal Enfield hasn’t officially released the Himalayan 750 yet (as of today, Friday, May 9, 2025), we’ve seen many test bikes, which means they are very close to finishing it.
Based on what we’ve learned from different places, here’s what we know about the upcoming Royal Enfield Himalayan 750:
When it Might Come Out:
- Most people think we’ll see a preview or a nearly finished version at a big motorcycle show in Italy in November 2025.
- The bike will probably go on sale in late 2026 or early 2027.
Engine and How It Runs:
- It’s likely to have a new 750cc engine with two cylinders side-by-side. This is probably a bigger version of the 650cc engine in their other bikes. This new engine will be stronger and cleaner for the environment.
- It’s expected to have around 50-55 horsepower and about 60-65 Nm of pulling power. This is much more than the current Himalayan 450 and their 650cc bikes.
- The engine will probably have 6 gears, and maybe a smoother clutch.
- It should be easier to ride at high speeds and more comfortable for long trips compared to the Himalayan 450.
Looks and What It Has:
- The design will probably look like the current Himalayan 450, with a familiar round headlight that uses LEDs (bright lights), a tall windshield that might move up and down, and some plastic around the front.
- It will likely have a strong frame with extra parts that can be taken off.
- The test bikes have shown spoked wheels (with wires) – a bigger one in the front (19-inch) and a smaller one in the back (17-inch). These might have tires that need tubes at first, but later they might have tubeless options or wheels made of one piece of metal. This kind of wheel setup suggests it will be good for riding on roads.
- Upside-down forks (the thicker part is on top) in the front and a single shock absorber in the back will handle bumps. These might even be adjustable.
- It’s expected to have two brake discs in the front and one in the back, probably with ABS (a safety system to stop the wheels from locking), which might be able to be turned off for riding off-road.
- It will likely have a color screen that shows information and can connect to your phone using Bluetooth. This could give you directions, let you control music and calls.
- Other possible things it might have are electronic controls for the throttle, different riding modes (for road, off-road, and rain), a cruise control to keep your speed steady, and a USB port to charge your devices.
How It Feels to Ride:
- It should have a comfortable, upright riding position with wide handlebars and footrests in the middle, good for long rides.
- The bike is expected to be heavier than the Himalayan 450, maybe around 210-220 kg.
- The seat will probably be around 825 mm high, but there might be a lower seat option.
How Much It Might Cost and Who It Will Compete With:
- The price in India when you buy it from the showroom is expected to be around ₹ 4.0 – ₹ 4.5 lakh.
- When it comes out, it will probably compete with bikes like the Kawasaki Versys 650 and Suzuki V-Strom 650.
To sum up, even though the Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 hasn’t officially come out yet, it looks like they are very close to finishing it. It’s expected to be a more powerful adventure bike that’s good for long trips, with better features and a two-cylinder engine. It will probably be released in late 2026 or early 2027.
