New Maruti Grand Vitara 2025: Price, Mileage, Features, Totally Ready for City Life

The Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara has already made a strong place for itself in the SUV market, and the 2025 version aims to become even better, especially for people living in cities. Price and Types The 2025 Maruti Grand Vitara comes in many different types, so there's something for everyone's budget and what they like. The starting prices in Delhi are now ₹11.42 lakh for the basic Sigma type and go up to ₹20.68 lakh for the top Alpha Plus (O) Intelligent Hybrid CVT Dual Tone type. Importantly, Maruti Suzuki has introduced a new Delta+ Strong Hybrid type priced at ₹16.99 lakh. This makes the fuel-saving strong hybrid technology more affordable for buyers. Also, the AllGrip four-wheel-drive (AWD) type now has a 6-speed automatic transmission, like its similar car, the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder. Mileage and Fuel Use One of the best things about the Grand Vitara is how little fuel it uses, especially the hybrid versions. The mileage numbers from the official testing group for the 2025 model are: Petrol (Manual): 21.11 kilometers per liter Petrol (Automatic): 20.58 kilometers per liter Hybrid (Automatic - eCVT): 27.97 kilometers per liter CNG (Manual): 26.60 kilometers per kilogram The strong hybrid engine combines a 1.5-liter petrol engine with an electric motor. This gives a smooth and fuel-saving drive, especially in city traffic where the electric motor can take over at slower speeds. The mild-hybrid versions also use Suzuki's Smart Hybrid system with a starter that also helps the engine and two batteries. This helps give extra power when speeding up and turns off the engine when stopped to save fuel. The high ground clearance of 210mm means it can easily handle bumpy city roads and speed bumps. The option of AllGrip four-wheel drive in some of the less powerful hybrid versions gives more confidence on slippery roads or slightly rough areas you might find outside the city.
