New Nissan X-Trail Priced at ₹49.92 Lakh – Understanding the Offer

The Nissan X-Trail is back in India, starting at ₹49.92 lakh (showroom price) on August 1, 2024. This is the fourth version of the SUV sold worldwide to come to India. However, recent news shows something interesting: brand new, unregistered versions of the 2024 Nissan X-Trail are being sold by a used luxury car seller, Big Boy Toyz (BBT), at a much lower price of ₹29.5 lakh. Let’s look at the details of this offer and the car itself.

The Big Boy Toyz Offer: A Huge Discount

According to news from late April 2025, Big Boy Toyz has bought many – around 80 out of the 150 – of the Nissan X-Trail cars that were first brought into India. These are said to be completely new cars with no miles driven and never registered before. BBT is selling them for ₹29.5 lakh, which is a very big discount of about ₹20.42 lakh compared to the official starting price.

There are a couple of ideas about why the price has dropped so much. One idea is that Nissan or its sellers had cars left over and want to sell them quickly. Another idea is that these cars might be older 2024 models or even cars used for showing before the official launch, and BBT bought them.

It’s interesting that at least one of the X-Trail cars listed by BBT has upgrades that the regular India model doesn’t have, like a bigger 12.3-inch screen inside and light brown leather seats, but it still costs ₹29.5 lakh. BBT has said that while the cars are currently at their store in Gurugram, they can deliver them anywhere in India.
