The fast-growing Indian electric two-wheeler market might soon see an exciting new bike. Recent secret pictures show a new electric motorcycle being tested. People are wondering if it will compete directly with popular everyday bikes like the Hero Splendor, but with a surprising adventure (ADV) look.
The test bike, covered up a lot, shows some interesting things. Its strong frame suggests it’s built to last and carry heavy loads. This hints that it could be used for both personal travel and for businesses. The very thick frame tubes are probably there to hold a big battery. This could mean it can travel a very long distance on a single charge, maybe between 150-200 km, if it uses a lithium-ion battery. Because it looks like an everyday bike, the top speed will likely be around 80 kmph, focusing on power for regular use instead of fast acceleration.
Looking at it, the motorcycle has a mix of old and ADV styles. A classic round headlight and mirrors look traditional, while a raised front part and tires made for different surfaces are usually found on adventure bikes. This suggests it can handle rougher roads and unpaved paths. This mix could appeal to many buyers, including those in the countryside where carrying people and things over different kinds of roads is common.
Further showing its practical nature is the very long and wide seat that’s all one piece. It looks even roomier than the Bajaj Freedom CNG bike. This feature would definitely make it more comfortable for both the rider and someone sitting behind, and it would greatly increase its ability to carry bags or goods. A strong-looking rack at the back also supports this. Big footrests for the person sitting behind also add to comfort and the ability to carry loads.
Looking at how it works, the motorcycle has a motor in the middle connected to the back wheel with a chain. This kind of system is known for being easy to take care of and fix, even at local repair shops. The suspension uses standard telescopic forks at the front and two shock absorbers at the back. Alloy wheels, which look like 17-inches on both ends, have the dual-purpose tires mentioned earlier. It uses disc brakes on both wheels to stop, and it will likely have a Combined Braking System (CBS) for extra safety.
The test bike also has a rectangular digital screen, probably an LCD one. This is expected to show important information like speed, battery level, and trip details. It might also have a USB charging port. However, because it will likely be sold as an affordable everyday bike, it might not have many extra connection features to keep the price down.
While we don’t know who is making it, the strong build and focus on being useful suggest a new company trying to shake up the cheaper end of the electric motorcycle market. Combining features good for everyday use with a bit of a tough ADV look could be a unique selling point in a market where most bikes have more standard designs.
The testing seems to be in the early stages, so an official launch might still be a while away, possibly in late 2025 or even 2026. If it’s priced well, this new electric motorcycle could really compete with the popular bikes in the entry-level market, offering an environmentally friendly option with more uses. People in the market will be watching closely for more news and official announcements about this interesting new electric two-wheeler.
