The R 1300 RT has a new 1,300 cc engine that uses both air and liquid to stay cool. This powerful engine makes 145 hp at 7,750 rpm and 149 Nm of power at 6,500 rpm. This gives you plenty of power for fun rides and comfortable long trips. The engine works with a smooth 6-speed gearbox and a shaft drive.
The R 1300 RT has many electronic helpers for the rider, including:
- Three normal riding modes: Eco, Rain, and Road.

India Launch and Expected Price
We don’t know exactly when the R 1300 RT will come to India yet, but it’s expected to arrive in the next few months. The old R 1250 RT cost around ₹ 24.95 lakh (without extra costs), so the new R 1300 RT is likely to cost more, maybe around ₹ 26-28 lakh (without extra costs), depending on the different versions and extra features offered.
