Triumph Motorcycles has shown the 2025 version of its popular Trident 660 roadster, the Trident 660 Triple Tribute Edition, giving it a strong mix of racing-style looks and better equipment for riders. This special version honors Triumph’s famous five-time Isle of Man TT-winning bike, “Slippery Sam,” and wants to bring the feeling of that special time to today’s riders.
Great Design with a Hint of the Past
The Triple Tribute version quickly catches the eye with its new and different colors. A smooth Sapphire Black body is the main color, giving a sleek and modern feel. This is strongly contrasted by bright Cobalt Blue and Diablo Red lines that go across the fuel tank, back part, and front cover. The most obvious visual detail is the “67” race number picture on the fuel tank, directly pointing to the number worn by “Slippery Sam” during its TT wins.
Making the sporty look even better are the Diablo Red wheels, a wind-blocking Sapphire Black screen with matching pictures, and a shaped aluminum bottom cover, all included. These things together give the Trident 660 Triple Tribute a lively and focused appearance.
Better Rider Equipment for a Modern Feel
Besides the great looks, the 2025 Trident 660 Triple Tribute gets important improvements to its equipment for riders. Importantly, it now has a “Sport” riding mode, giving a quicker response from the throttle for a more exciting ride. Along with this is the addition of improved cornering ABS and traction control, which use a sensor to help with better braking and stability even when the bike is leaning in turns.
For smoother and faster gear changes, the Triumph Shift Assist system is now included. Also, for the first time on the Trident 660, cruise control is included, adding comfort for longer rides. The bike also keeps its easy-to-use features like the full-color screen that connects to your phone through the My Triumph app.
Strong Triple-Cylinder Performance
The heart of the Trident 660 Triple Tribute is still Triumph’s special 660cc three-cylinder engine. This engine meets the latest pollution rules and makes a balanced power of 81 horsepower at 10,250 rpm and 64 Nm of top power at 6,250 rpm. The engine is known for its smooth power at all speeds, offering a mix of strong low-speed power and high-speed excitement, making it good for both fun rides and everyday travel. The six-speed gearbox works with the standard Triumph Shift Assist for easy gear changes.
Easy Handling and Good Quality Parts
The Trident 660 is built on a light steel frame, which helps with its easy and safe handling. The suspension includes Showa 41mm Separate Function Big Piston (SFF-BP) upside-down forks at the front and a Showa single shock with adjustable spring at the back. This setup gives a controlled and comfortable ride. Braking is done by two Nissin two-piston front brakes on 310mm discs and a single-piston rear brake on a 255mm disc, all with improved cornering ABS for better safety. The bike uses high-quality Michelin Road 5 tires, which give great grip in different conditions.
Availability and Price
The 2025 Triumph Trident 660 Triple Tribute is expected to arrive in stores starting in June 2025. While the exact price for India hasn’t been announced yet, the prices in other countries suggest it will cost a little more than the standard Trident 660.
A Great Package
The 2025 Triumph Trident 660 Triple Tribute Edition is a great choice for riders looking for a stylish, capable, and modern middleweight roadster with a touch of racing history. Its great design, better equipment, and the fun three-cylinder engine make it attractive for both new and experienced riders. This special version nicely combines classic style with modern performance, creating a bike that is sure to get attention and provide exciting rides.
