Right now, lots of people want SUVs that feel fancy but don’t cost too much to buy or run (with good gas mileage). Car companies are trying to make these kinds of cars, and Skoda is becoming a strong player with its SUVs. People are especially excited about a possible fancy version of a Skoda SUV that might cost less money and also get great mileage.

- Skoda Kodiaq: This is their top-level SUV, and it feels very fancy with its seven seats, nice inside, and lots of cool features. It costs more money, but it gives you a luxurious feel. The gas mileage for the Kodiaq is around 14.86 kmpl.
What to Expect from a “Fancy Version at a Low Price with Great Mileage”
Looking at the Skoda SUVs we already know and what people want, a new version could cleverly mix some of the best things about their current cars:
- Fancy Features: This version would probably use nicer materials inside, like leather seats, soft plastic, and stylish decorations. You can probably expect things like a big touchscreen for music and maps that works easily with your phone (Android Auto and Apple CarPlay), a good sound system (maybe the Canton system like in the Kodiaq), lights that change color inside, a glass roof that opens, and seats that move with buttons and have air to keep you cool. It might also have advanced safety features like many airbags, a system to help keep the car stable, and maybe even ADAS (which are systems that help you drive safer).
- Low Cost to Own: To make it “low cost,” the price when you buy it would likely be competitive, and it would also use less gas so it’s cheaper to run. Skoda might do this by making more parts in India and making the engine use fuel more efficiently.
- Great Mileage: This is really important. Skoda’s current gas engines get okay mileage. To get “great mileage,” they might use newer engine technology, like turbocharging that uses fuel better, or even add a mild-hybrid system (which uses a small electric motor to help the engine). If they offer a diesel engine, that could also help get better gas mileage.
